Achieved significant marketing enhancements and 300% increase in bandwidth consumption



The Goal:

Increase the control and flexibility of the CAHPCU Internet Marketing Tool.

The Challenge:

California Highway Patrol Credit Union was seeking to significantly increase the effectiveness and speed of implementing new marketing messages on their existing website. The existing website was not maintainable by the CAHPCU staff and the vendor was slow to respond and costly for minor and major changes on the website. After working with their existing vendor, they were becoming frustrated with the lack of development and an absence of collaborative Internet Marketing expertise.

The Process:

WSI worked with the CAHPCU Marketing Manager and key technology leaders to develop an Internet Solution that was flexible, secure and cost effective to implement and maintain. WSI developed a contemporary look and feel to the website, implemented the website technology and instructed the Marketing Staff on how to create and maintain the CAHPCU website content, as well as implementing effective analytical tools to help the Marketing Manager understand how the CAHPCU messages were being used by the online community.

The Solution:

The California Highway Patrol Credit Union worked with WSI to design and implement a modern, cost-effective database driven website that was easily maintained and updated by the CAHPCU staff. Implemented services;

The Results:

Significant increase in visitor traffic as measured in the bandwidth and pages viewed and the business website has become one of the most cost effective and powerful marketing tools used by CAHPCU. In comparing visits from March 2008 (22,707 visits) to March 2010 (32,299 visits) CAHPCU has experienced a 42% increase in average website traffic and an increase in pages viewed from 44,465 to 63,396 a 40% increase.
